Il sole splende ed è un piacere sentirlo riscaldare le ossa che si erano già infreddolite dopo una settimana di pioggia.
E poi il cielo è terso e azzurro come solo l'autunno ce lo sa regalare...
Per cui, più che tempo di cappellini sembra tempo di t-shirts, ma noi eravamo già nel mood autunno/inverno e così...
Ecco il nostro cappello doppio uso, utile anche come sciarpa "anti-impigliamento".
Infatti a volte le sciarpe (tradizionali) possono essere un po' scomode, soprattutto se siamo alle prese con biciclette, parchi giochi, scivoli e così via...
Così abbiamo pensato di ovviare al problema con uno scaldacollo che è molto meno probabile si possa impigliare in un'altalena durante una dondolata!
Dunque:
1. Tagliare una striscia di stoffa. Io ho scelto del pile arancione, facile da lavare dopo una giornata al parco ma caldo!
Il calcolo della misura si può fare facilmente partendo delle orecchio e arrivando alla cima della testa. Poi bisogna aggiungere un 7 cm per riuscire a chiuderlo in cima e 2 cm di orlo sia sopra che sotto.
La lunghezza è la circonferenza della testa, però bisogna assolutamente ricordarsi di partire dalla fronte e passare dalla nuca...altrimenti si fa il mio stesso errore che poi andrà rattoppato...vedi al punto 4...
2. Fare l'orlo sia sopra che sotto ripiegando 2 cm la stoffa verso l'interno.
Ricordarsi di non concludere la cucitura dell'orlo superiore, che va lasciato leggermente aperto (circa 1,5 cm) per riuscire a far passare il cordoncino che serve poi a chiuderlo.
3. A questo punto ritagliare le varie parti del disegno che si vuole applicare.
Io ho scelto un cagnolino così ho ritagliato:
Il musetto da un pezzetto di pile bianco
Occhietti, linguetta, sopracciglia, naso, lingua e bocca da ritagli di pannolenci.
3. Ho scelto di applicare a macchina solo il musetto, per il resto ho cucito a mano tutti i dettagli con un punto festone.
4. A questo punto va chiuso.
E qui casca...la sottoscritta!
Ovviamente dopo averlo cucito e finito ho provato a infilarlo a Toti il quale si è trovato incastrato al suo interno...!
Dopo averlo sentito urlare: "Mamma mi stacchi le orecchieeeeeeee!" ho intuito che era un po' troppo stretto...
Così ho ovviato al problema inserendo una fascia verde sul dietro.
In merceria ho trovato la chiusura. Non so davvero come si chiami ma spero che dalla foto si capisca quale ho usato!
5. Eccolo qui, il nostro cappellino.
Messo nell'armadio in attesa che arrivi il freddo.
E la neve.
Che arriverà...siamo certi che arriverà...

Improving my English
Yesterday there were 24 degrees and today it’s the same!
The sun is shining and it is a pleasure to feel it warm my bones
that were already chilled after a week of rain.
And autumn gives us such a blue sky…!
Actually, we should wear t -shirts , but we are already in the mood
of autumn / winter and so…here’s a hat!
That’s our dual-use hat and
neck warmer, very also useful as “anti- catching” scarf.
In fact sometimes scarves (
traditional ones ) can be a little bit uncomfortable , especially if you are
talking to a kid who loves bicycles , playgrounds , slides and so on So we
decided to tackle the problem with a neck warmer which is much less
likely to be pinched in a swing during a rocked !
1 . Cut a strip of fabric. I chose the orange fleece , easy to
wash off after a day at the park but warm and soft!
The calculation of the measurement can be done easily starting from the ear and coming to the top of the head
. Then you have to add a 9 cm to be able to close the hat.
The length is the circumference of the head , but we must
absolutely remember to start from the front and pass across the back of the
neck ... otherwise you will do my same mistake ... see point 4 ...
Remember not to conclude the seam
of the upper edge, which should be left slightly open (about 1.5 cm) to be able
to pass the cord which serves to close it.
3. At this point
cut the various parts of the design that you want to apply.
I chose a small dog so I cut:
The muzzle from a piece of white
fleece.
Eyes, tongue, eyebrows, nose,
tongue and mouth cutouts from colored felt.
3. I have sewed
the muzzle, then I hand-stitched all the details with a buttonhole stitch.
4. Now you have to
sew the hat to close it.
And that’s my mistake!
After I finished the hat, Toti put it on
and he found himself stuck in it ...!
After hearing he screams, "Mommy, you
are tearing off my eeeeeaaaaaaarssssss!” I realized that it was a little bit too
small ...
So I solved the problem by inserting a
green band on the back.
I bought a closure. I do not know really the
name but I hope you understand from the picture which one I used!
5. Here
it is, our hat.
Put in the closet waiting for the arrival
of the cold.
